To address these needs, Valeo.it developed a cross-platform native app for iOS and Android devices, designed to revolutionise queue management and enhance the guest experience at the amusement park. The app allows users to view real-time wait times, virtually reserve their spot, and receive a notification when it’s time to access the attraction. This system reduces perceived wait times and improves activity planning within the park.A key feature of the app is the integration of NFC technology, enabling fast and contactless access to attraction turnstiles. For devices not compatible with NFC, the app offers an alternative using QR codes, ensuring flexibility and inclusivity for all guests.Valeo.it’s specialists also designed the app’s infrastructure to handle high volumes of traffic, ensuring optimal performance even on the busiest days. The platform was later updated with a second version that includes in-app payment functionality, allowing guests to purchase queue-skipping tickets directly from the app, further streamlining the user experience.
