Founded in 2007 as a Wireless Internet Service Provider (WISP), Wishnet has established itself in the TelCo landscape thanks to the quality of its services, the speed of its support, and its ability to develop advanced technological solutions for residential customers, businesses, and Public Administrations.
Over time, the company has expanded its expertise in connectivity, networking, Unified Communication, intelligent video surveillance, and infrastructure design, and now operates through three dedicated divisions: Retail, Business, and PAL.
A key milestone in the company’s growth journey was its contribution to the creation of Open Hub Med, the first gateway to the global internet in Sicily. This enabled Wishnet to develop its own fiber optic network across Western Sicily, improving the performance, reliability, and competitiveness of its services.
Today, Wishnet becomes part of Abacus Group, strengthening its capabilities in ICT Infrastructure & Managed Solutions and contributing to the development of advanced infrastructure services, cloud networking, and high-reliability solutions for businesses and public administrations.
